Education at Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School

                Mojokerto, Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School.Here we will tell about procedure learning of this school. Because as the most people knows, Al-Amin is one of the good boarding school in Mojokerto.  In the same manner as the student of public school, the students of Al-Amin goes to school at half past six in the morning and back to the boarding school at one o’clock in the afternoon.  Although they have demanding schedule, they are so spirit to do their activity.

In formal learning at school, they are not only study about public lessons, but also learn about religion lessons in the same manner as salafiah boarding school lessons. They study about Nahwu and Shorof as Arabic gramatical, Fiqih , Tauhid, Aqidah and Akhlak, etc. And they use the classic kitab( kitab kuning). For the other, they study the public lessons like Indonesian, English, Sains, Social, etc. Here, in this boarding school, you found the differences between this school and the other school, in AL-AMIN , all of students use English and Arabic as their daily speaking. There are some tutors here to control their speaking. So that’s why they are so spirit to speak english everywhere.

This school also complete with Library, Language Laboratory, Computer Laboratory, Physic Laboratory, Biology-Chemistry Laboratory, Audio Visual Learning and support with internet or wifi area. Start school year 2010-2011, Al-Amin begin the laptopization program. This program specially for senior high school students. The student is obligated to bring  personal computer or Laptop to support their studying. The learning here is basically making  islamic young cadres with the best quality that has a big conception , glorious configurational, personal minded, and useful for religion, nation, and state.

Siti Yulaikah English teacher, said Al-Amin has 2 curriculum, they are pesantren and public school. And the student of Al-Amin  also can show their ability in extracurriculers. For the example Banjari as islamic music, Kir or Karya Ilmiah Remaja, Kaligrafi, Jurnalism ,Kitab Kuning etc. In this boarding school they not only study all of lessons at school, but they also study about costumer contact. Start how to form a group between affluent society and petitborgeois, etc.
